We have been publishing Addiction Today magazine (formerly Addiction Counselling World) to professionals in the addiction recovery field since 1989. Our circulation (print run is 6000) is the largest of any publication dealing with addiction treatment in the UK. We introduced our Treatment Directory in early 1990and have updated and published it in every issue since then.
Our Treatment Directory is - as far as we know - the most comprehensive listing of its kind in the UK. It is used as a source of referral by many practitioners "on the front line" - including doctors, nurses, police, probation officers, counsellors and therapists in general practice and in Alcohol & Drugs Street Agencies, and by professionals in other residential rehab facilities. The magazine also reaches DAT/DAAT members, purchasers and influencers in the health field.
We now also publish our Treatment Directory on this website and offer three variations for Treatment Facilities to advertise their services:
Magazine Listing (including free basic web listing)
- Over 25 pieces of information, including contact information and services offered
- Information is presented in a matrix format, making it easy for readers to quickly see who offers the services they need
- The listing is alphabetically sorted by name within country, and covers (at present) about nine pages.
- All magazine listings also include a free basic web listing consisting of name, address, telephone, fax, email hyperlink and website hyperlink.
Extended Web Listing Only
All the information in the magazine listing plus over 25 extra pieces of information, including:
- Photographs with large "free text" areas
- Link to a map of your location
- The facility for you to store a pdf document in your listing for viewing/downloading by web visitors
Magazine, Basic Web Listing, and Extended Web Listing
Includes all of the above.
Upgrade an existing Brief Listing to an Extended Listing
Adds the Extended Online Listing to an existing magazine listing
PRICING
Agreements are for a year. Prices are:
- Magazine Listing (including free basic web listing) - £534pa
- Extended Web Listing Only - £192pa
- Magazine, Basic Web Listing, and Extended Web Listing - £630pa

PLUS:
- FREE - a subscription to Addiction Today magazine is included with all Treatment Directory Agreements (worth £55)
- FREE - new Agreements that include a magazine listing include a free one-off quarter page colour display ad in Addiction Today (worth £375). This is published in the first issue in which the new listing appears.
VAT
VAT is payable on all prices quoted, except (a) if your organisation is a charity registered in the UK and you have provided us with your charity registration number, or (b) you are VAT registered in an EC country other than the UK and you have provided us with your VAT registration number, or (c) your organisation (invoicing address) is outside the UK and outside the EC and is, therefore, beyond the scope of UK VAT.

Either:
- by cheque
- against invoice raised upon publication of the first issue in which the listing appears
